INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOPS
These workshops are designed to provide enriching Hakomi experiences to the general public and to those considering the Hakomi Professional Training. They are offered on a variety of topics. All the introductory workshops offer participants an experience of Hakomi principles and key techniques. These are presented by Hakomi Institute trainers. Generally, they are offered on Friday from 1-6 and Saturday from 9-5.
Mini-introductions to Hakomi: FOR HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS: any groups (eg. psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers, body workers, life coaches) curious about the Hakomi Professional Training may request a complimentary, 2-3 hour introduction to Hakomi principles, techniques and therapeutic process. These will be presented by Arlene Cassidy, Certified Hakomi Therapist, R. Psych. Contact Arlene @ 244-6920 or arlene.cassidy@shaw.ca for more information.
COUPLES' WORKSHOP: KEEPING IN LOVE
Contact diane.priebe@shaw.ca for information about part 2
with Beth Falch-Nielson, RCC, CHT & Dr. Dennis Brown, Registered Psychologist, CHT
Are you wanting to fall in love with your partner all over again? Have you come to realize that "Keeping in Love" takes falling in love to the next level? Using mindfulness and compassion, this workshop will teach skills needed to sustain a healthy, respectful, and mutually rewarding relationship over time. For those who are not having "problems" in the relationship, but just want to deepen what you already have, this workshop will also offer experiences to further explore your connection to each other - to help "keeping in love".

SUPERVISION/CONSULTATION
For: Hakomi graduates pursuing certification, those interested in feedback on their skills and how their own personhood (strengths and blind spots) may impact their work, those requesting case consultation.
Jaci Hull and Beth Falch-Neilsen will each come to Alberta in 2009. When Beth is supervising, students may request R-CS supervision. Jaci has extensive training in therapy for trauma, as well as couple's counseling, so therapists interested in consult or supervision re: trauma or couple's work, may request this from Jaci.
These meetings are open to Hakomi graduates. Some non-Hakomi grads (with similar training) may also attend based on the discretion of the trainer.

THE RE-CREATION OF THE SELF
developed and taught by Jon Eisman, Senior Hakomi Trainer
The Re-Creation of Self (R-CS) training has two areas of focus: the R-CS model of Selfhood, and the application of the model to working with individual clients. The model provides a comprehensive mapping of the Self, precisely describing our transpersonal context, our innate wholeness and resources; and our pursuit of ongoing personal wishes towards further experiences and ever expanding self-expression.
In contrast to Hakomi and other process oriented therapies, R-CS asserts that it is not always necessary to access the history and content of the client's woundedness in order to make changes. Instead, R-CS offers an alternative clinical direction focusing on assisting clients to embody and apply the already present and immediately available structures and resources of the Ideal Self.
